Rural Post Office Development Programme

The Rural Post Office Development Programme involves the refurbishment, modernisation and computerisation of 400 rural post offices throughout the country. It is the second phase of An Post's post office "Service Plus" improvement programme under which the range of services available to customers at post offices, serving 96% of customers, will offer Service Plus services computerised bill payment, passport application and Bureau de Change facilities.
