Sub-Programme on Coastal Protection

1. Coasprot Measure
The objective of this measure is to address urgent coastal erosion problems and thereby preserve State-owned property, tourist amenities, natural habitats/ecology and private property. Approved projects will be undertaken by the coastal authorities concerned or directly by the Department of the Marine and Natural Resources.

Preservation work should assist in supporting rural development, tourism, environmental protection and other activities which contribute to the economic potential of coastal areas.
